Details
The location of this bridge on the Teesta river . The 13th Iron Span built by the 'Northern Bengal State Railway' is said to be the third largest railway bridge in the country.
Northern Bengal State Railway Company In 1853 British India introduced the first railway service. Later in 1879, extension expansion programs began from Kolkata to Patpur and to the north to provide famine relief assistance.
