Details

The Teesta Road Bridge is located on the Teesta River on the Lalmonirhat-Rangpur Highway in Kaunia Upazila of Rangpur District. The bridge has began construction in 2006 and was completed in June 2012. The bridge was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 20 September 2012. The bridge is 750 meters long and 12.1 meters wide. The span of the bridge is 15 and the number of pillars is 16. The total cost of construction of the bridge is Tk 122.09 crore. River governance are about 760 meters. Approach road are about 2.29 km.
